Sefalana Stores stock Kathiku beverages

Kathiku Beverages has officially been listed in Sefalana stores. The beverage company, owned by the enterprising Ineeleng Kavindama is made up of the Kathiku Big 5 Collection, which comprises of Kathiku Handcrafted Gin, Kathiku Handcrafted Pink gin, Kathiku handcrafted vodka or the Kathiku English toffee cream liquor and the Kathiku Blondie white chocolate brownie.

Alternatively, they can also opt for a bottle of wine from their award winning wine collection from Stellenbosch.

Kavindama excitedly shared the big news about their listing earlier this week. For now, Kathiku Beverages can be purchased at Sefalana Stores in Shakawe, Maun and Sefalana Hyper Stores ( Gaborone) as well as Sefalana Setlhoa.

For Kavindama, who has been working tirelessly around the clock on the growth of her business, it has been a long time coming for this local brand. Kathiku means sunset, and she notes that it was a stroke of genius that her home region ( Maun and Shakawe) got the privilege to list.

Currently in Maun, where she has been busy promoting the brand at the just ended annual Mascom Derby, she also held some celebrations party for this achievement in Maun at the revamped Pub Black & White formerly Pub 24/ 7. She explains that patrons were served VIP style on their table with ‘ Kathiku Big 5 shots’, as well as bottles of Kathiku Pure Gin, Kathiku Pink Gin, Kathiku English Toffee Liqueur, Kathiku vodka. “We gave them the experience of tasting the Kathiku Beverages Ice Diamond Energy drinks pre- mixed with Vodka, Gin, Rum and Raspberry.

The party goers ended the night with style when they also got free vinette canned wines from Kathiku Beverages, and they drank the night away, celebrating this big milestone,” she says. Ineeleng further explained that more activations and parties across the country are in the pipeline, a tool to aggressively market the brand and introduce it to Batswana.
